Eligibility of Jnanabhumi Scholarship

For Pre Matric Scholarship:

• Only candidates from the SC, ST, BC and communities of the differently abled are eligible for the scholarship. 
• The scholarship is available to students who are members of the SC/ST/disabled population who are enrolled in grades 5 through 10. 
• The grant is just available to candidates from the BC community for use in grades 9 and 10. 
• For candidates from the SC, ST, BC and disabled communities, the yearly family income limit is INR 2 Lakhs.

For Post Matric Scholarship:

• All applicants who are enrolled in Polytechnic, ITI and degree level or higher programs in government sponsored or privately run institutions that are connected to state universities or boards. Students enrolled in day scholars, Candidates in Department Attached Hostels and College Attached Hostels CA. 
• The Announcement of scholarship requires a minimum of 75% overall attendance. To have a yearly household income of no more than or equivalent to Rs. 2.50 lakhs. 
• The family’s total landholding cannot exceed either ten acres of wetland, 25 acres of dry land or 25 acres of combined wet and dry land. 
• There should be no government employees or pensioners in the Candidates family except than sanitary workers. There should be no four wheeler ownership in the household.
