Objective of Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana 

The main objective of the Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana is to provide financial security to the workers in form of insurance. With the help of the yojana, the workers will be protected from unexpected risk. 

Benefits of Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana 

• Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana will be providing financial security to the workers of the state. 
• The workers will be motivated to work hard as they know if something will happen to them, the state government will help their families financially. 
• The scheme also aims to provide social security to the workers and their families. 
• In case of accidental death, the state government decided to give amount of Rs. 10 lakhs or Rs. 5 lakhs, according to the plan selected. The amount will be given to the nominee. 
• If the individual gets permanent disability, then person who is insured will be given amount of Rs. 10 lakhs or Rs. 5 lakhs, as per the plan selected. 
• If the person gets partial disability, then the insured person will get a monthly pension for life. 
• According to this scheme, hospitalization benefits up to Rs. 2 lakhs in a year will also be given to the applicant. 
• The Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana scheme will promote well-being of the workers. 

Eligibility Criteria for Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana 

• It is necessary that an individual to be a permanent citizen of India. 
• Individual should be a member of the unorganized sector.
• The minimum age of the individual should be 18 years and maximum age must be 60 years.
• Make sure that an applicant must not have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Premiums of Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana 

The yearly premium for  Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana is Rs. 499 for a cover of Rs. 10 lakhs. For a cover of Rs. 5 lakhs, the premium is Rs. 289. Both options are available that the premium can be given full at one time or in instalments.

Procedure of registration for Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana(Offline)

• Then you have to attach the documents.
